The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male who stole upwards of 150 pair of cosmetic eye lenses. The theft took place at approximately 5:50 pm on Thursday December 12th, 2019 at Patties Party Palace, located at 4890 Rutherford Road.
Upon attendance, investigators were told by employees that the suspect male entered the store and immediately went to the display case containing approximately 350 pair of the eye lenses. The suspect broke the display case in half, and in doing so took half with him. He then left and was last seen running through the parking lot. The suspect male is described as white, 25-35 years old, medium build and medium height, wearing a dark jacket, jeans and a dark hat with a logo on the front.
