The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help to identify a male who stole a pair of runners from NUKO, a local organization which supports children with neurological differences. The incident occurred between 3 am and 5 am on May 15th, 2020 from their business located at 60 Needham St.
Police obtained video surveillance which showed a male using a long stick to fish out and grab hold of the runners. After many attempts the suspect managed to hook onto one pair of Nike high-tops and a singe running shoe. The male whose face could not be seen was wearing bright red running shoes.
