Nanaimo file # 2020-13479 On Saturday April 11th, 2020 mailboxes on Haughan Road mailboxes were pried open and contents emptied. Empty mailboxes frequently and report all suspicious people or vehicles to the police.
Nanaimo 2020-13459 On Saturday April 11th, between 8 pm and 11 pm, a grey Giant Escape mountain bike was stolen from the carport of a home in the 700 block of Brechin Road. Serial number of the bike is CBAD7187.
Nanaimo file # 2020-13451 Overnight on Saturday April 11th a theft occurred at an apartment building under construction, behind Shoppers Drug Mart on Mary Ellen Drive. Taken were tools. Items left at construction sites should always be marked with an identifying number and pictures taken.
Nanaimo 2020-13611 During the afternoon of Sunday April 12th a male shoplifter made off with a number of items from London Drugs, Port Place Mall. The suspect male is white, mid-twenties, long brown hair, facial hair and wearing a black and grey jacket, jeans and black shoes.
Nanaimo 2020-13650 Overnight on Monday April 13th the Beban Club/Lions Pavilion, located at 2300 Bowen Road was broken into. The front door was found smashed open and ajar, and the office door open. Unknown what was taken and in the next couple of days, all electronics are being removed.
Nanaimo file # 2020-13672 Overnight on Monday April 13th thieves stole a wallet from a vehicle parked in the carport of a home on Kentucky Place, in Cinnabar. The stolen wallet was located near Cinnabar School, minus credit cards and a debit card. The stolen cards were not used and have since been cancelled.
Nanaimo file # 2020-13927 Between April 13th and April 15th, a Canon Rebel T3 camera was stolen from a vehicle left unlocked on Bird Sanctuary. Nanaimo file # 2020-13898 Overnight on Wednesday April 15th thieves smashed the front windshield of a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Hammond Bay Road. Taken was a Rockford Fosgate 12” subwoofer and a tote containing old tools.
Nanaimo file # 2020-13912 On Wednesday April 15th, between 6:30 pm and 10 pm, a vehicle in the 600 block of Howard Ave was broken in and taken was loose change.
Nanaimo file # 2020-14005 Sometime between 3 am and 4 am, on Wednesday April 16th thieves stole two brown rimmed blue ceramic flower pots, filled with soil and flowers from a yard on Strickland St. The pots were quite heavy so a cart or vehicle would be required to carry them off.
