The Nanaimo RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the male shown in the attached photos. It is alleged this individual used a bank card that had accidentally been left inserted into an ATM. $1000 was then withdrawn from the victims account. The incident occurred at approximately 9:50 am on April 12th 2020 at the TD Bank on Dufferin Crescent.
Bank video surveillance photos show the suspect male at the ATM in question. He is described as white, 35-45 years and with a medium build. If you have information on the identity of this person, please contact the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
